Hello, my name is Dare Nwaka, and I am the Founder of Divine Scanning as well as the author of *Vascular Technology Made Simple* (2023). I established Divine Scanning to provide a dedicated tutoring service for registered sonographers who wish to cross-train into vascular sonography from other ultrasound modalities.

As a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), both accredited by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience to my work. I have had the privilege of holding various roles as a sonographer, ultrasound department manager in top hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore metropolitan areas, and in my current role for over 8 years as an ultrasound physics and vascular instructor at several respected institutions on the East Coast and West Coast.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Human Physiology from the University of Minnesota in 2001 and graduated from the esteemed Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at George Washington University in 2003. My passion for patient care and advocacy led me to further my education with a master’s degree in public health in 2017 and a Doctorate in Education in 2025. I am deeply committed to education and believe in the potential of every student. My teaching philosophy revolves around a hands-on, individualized approach to training, ensuring that each student becomes a competent, skilled, and professional sonographer. I tailor my curriculum to meet the specific needs of each student, fostering an environment of growth and success for their future careers in ultrasound.
